How To Be Courageous In Time Of Unfairness

I was about to have my afternoon nap when my son Ty asked me if ever I took a piece of his strawberry swirl cheesecake. I said no. I am not interested in his cheesecake, maybe only if that's a blueberry cheesecake. He was kind of upset when somebody steals what he owns or something that belongs to him and it was missing or stolen. I'm in the same shoes. I don't like anybody or somebody stealing what I owned.

Then, I had my afternoon siesta. It was a good naptime actually until I heard that CBC News on TV about political party or politicians receiving money from some people just to "corner them for few hours of questioning or whatever." Is that right?! And it was legal according to Mr. Peter Mansbridge. Really? Hard to believe. Maybe it's the QUESTION PERIOD where politicians gathered at the House of Parliament and everyone's being questioned about their role, duty and obligations to the public. What they have done so far? They are being paid by taxpayers to do what is right for Canadians and what they can do to help them in the high standard of living in Canada where only few people can support themselves. It's true that we have a volatile economic condition and the situation is abysmal. Not too many can afford to live in pricey houses, apartments, and condos. If there will be people who can, probably their budget is only for rent payment or mortgage for their house but the food budget would be macaroni and cheese all the time. Cheesy? Let say there is the presence of Food Bank where free food or non-perishable food is available. However, you can't be sure that the food there is good enough or enough for thousands of recipients. Recipients could jeopardize their health especially if they are diabetic, with debilitating ailments or with disability. I haven't try the Food Bank yet. We donated non-perishable food. I wish not to be a recipient of donated canned goods or whatever. WE BOUGHT OUR FOOD. I COOKED MY FAMILY's FOOD.  My husband works so hard and he received wages monthly. It's just that there are clients who do not have the conscience to pay what they owed.

I can relate to those people whose budget is the paycheque to paycheque kind of ordeal. When we called for the carpetman to clean our area rug, sofa, recliners and chairs we paid the worker right away after his work is finished within an hour. Why? Because he has a family to support. When our washer and dryer broke down, we called the technician or repair man to do his work and I paid the technician right away in less than an hour when he's finished with his work. He has  family to support. People worked because they have to live and they have FAMILY to support. Professionalism? That's what you call professionalism!!!!! Being educated leads you to that kind of responsibility. When you call a worker to do his work you have to pay that worker right away you don't let them wait for days and weeks. Why this kind of story? Millions of people can relate to this story, because truth is Canada is not that really wealthy or rich as what you think it is. Maybe it depends on who runs the government and how the leader can spread his wealth to the country, this is the case of  Prime Minister Mackenzie King. Remember that this country is now a refuge for refugees and because of this the country has been on "low light." Pay your obligation and do not let others wait for your slow moving decision. Unless of course you think that this country is now Russia and that will lead you to nowhere. Is Canada a Russian country now? We must welcome President Putin and maybe there'll be another 007 Movie.

Politicians are rich people who can just say a word or two and they can make hundred thousands of dollars. But you know what happened in Russia with all those corrupt politicians and the Czars? Let it not happen to this country. While ordinary workers have to work so hard, hard work pays. It takes you to the point that it creeps out on every strength there is in your body. People who worked so hard have the tendency to suffer ailments such as arthritis, rheumatism,  parkinsons disease, hypertensions or heart ailment, and other ailments that can damage nervous system. The price of hardwork and over fatigue is not much of money but auto-immune syndrome.

To cry out foul and voice out unfairness is not a sign of weakness but a sign of courage.
