In My Own Words

Seriously, I was unable to sleep last night I was so stressed out because of the persistent annoyance of somebody. My blood pressure is going up and down with this kind of stress.

The owner of the house named Sudhir decided that he wants to sell the house we are currently leasing for a year and the lease ends   May 2016. In that contract we have to pay month to month basis after the lease expires. This contract was done on the faith that they know each other because my husband is one of the contractors to "many of his houses built in the city"where we live. The house that we are currently staying was for sale for more than a year before we moved in May 2015. My husband and brother-in-law built the fence for this house, we provide garden and bought plants for the garden. My husband do the landscaping and lawn mowing. This house is taken care at the best quality and care by my family. We are not noisy people. We don't create trouble.

There's no appliances inside the house that we provided all the appliances instead such as: stove/oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, laundry machine, drier machine. We bought such appliances in brand new condition. I repeat that we provided our own appliances.  If we moved out, we will have to take all the appliances with us, everything inside the house. Sudhir wants to buy the appliances but husband said no.

The realtor is persistent to show the house while we are here and even if the lease expires end of the month of May 2016. He also wants the key to the house so that they can show the house with or without us inside the house at Vermont. Wow! I think that's a form of control. I don't like his game of thrones series. Seriously, I know that the realtor looks like Jim Carrey but I don't like this kind of treatment like we don't know our rights. Do you like somebody controlling your own existence in the house that you are renting and paying on time?

First and foremost we are good tenants. We abide the rules and regulations, we care for the house and we know our rights. We follow the law of the land.

It will be such a nuisance every time the "onlookers" will look at the house for viewing. We'll be losing our privacy but if the owner wants to sell the house because he can't sell his own house and he is to finish the new house (with my husband as one of the contractors?), what can we do? He probably is desperately in need of finance for another mansion so...

But as I said tenants have rights too.
