Never Ending Story

Who said that we don't get to go for a vacation anywhere in Canada? Well, "sometimes" or rather seldom? lol

I have seen the whole of British Columbia from end to end of this beautiful province of SuperNatural BC, down in Alaska (Hyder, Alaska). Alaska is a state of U.S.A. I know that but the border is open that time. We watched black grizzly bears as they hunt for fresh fish on the stream of water. They knew who are "new" or strangers in that area. People knew each other over there.  I have been to the border of California when my husband and I had a visit at Barkerville, BC where we panned for gold. Truly amazing! The setting of that village was presented in 18th Century period. We went to Kelowna, Kamloops down to Jasper only few miles to Alberta. It was at the time that it was so freaking hot over there. From Cache Creek (super hot in that area whew!) to Quesnel, Williams Lake, Prince George, Hundred Miles, to Terrace then to Prince Rupert. We were everywhere as if long driving is just fast and easy with cruise-control Lumina.

We had a chance to visit our friends in Gold River then to Port Hardy. We had a two day tour of Victoria, BC, visited the BC Legislature, took photographs, had a visit at the Empress Hotel for their one of a kind "museum featuring the miniature kingdom or miniature world" and many other worthy important places for sightseeing. That time in 1993, the Crystal Gardens was still open to the public. It was a garden of exotic plants and exotic birds and animals. They had that very strange tiny monkeys, the size of a tiny mouse.

We went to Butchart garden where gardeners kept all variety of plants and flowers in a very organized pattern that you'll be amazed of their existence especially the "tiger rose." My first time to have seen such a species of rose. There was that Japanese garden and still in existence up to today. We didn't forget to visit the "House of Wax" because as you know I'm an avid fan of Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana, and the royalty,  rather Monarchy of England. It was great that the Duke Will and Duchess Kate plus their royal family of  Great Britain had chosen British Columbia as their point of destination for royal vacation.

British Columbia is beautiful. It's "huge" of a land that you wont be able to finish to see the whole province in 8 days. You must at least stay for one month to be able to see the whole B.C. British Columbia is so huge to be a province when it's actually too large to be a country.

While Vancouver Island is the sunshine coast, supposedly...but you know that weather can be unpredictable. You can go on a long driving from end to end of this magnificent island in 15 hours, only if you have a reliable vehicle for a thorough sight-seeing from the windows of your vehicle. You might as well ride a helicopter or run a motorboat and view the island through the water. Include whale watching for your one of a kind adventure. The only time I had seen orcas (whales) when I worked at Painters Lodge and from that lodge restaurant you can view whales along the ocean by surprise. Incredible eh? Anyway, we all have different way of seeing the beauty of nature as it passes from one generation to another.
