HAPPY CANADA DAY!
It's now the 151st birthday of Canada
and
What could be more noble and honorable to pay homage to your native land?
The modern day Governor General Madam Juliette Payette had an amazing way to do the honor of showing her incredible talent, wit and integrity with much of the suprise and amazement of the Canadian crowd, the citizens of Canada. This is something new, informal way, casual way of celebrating Canada Day, instead of coming out from the limousine, the GG biked her way after the Parliamentary guard inspection to be at the grounds of the Parliament Hill in Ottawa. She is physically and mentally fit for her work as a Governor General of course. Once an astronaut will be forever an astronaut and her way is the highway?
While the Governor General addressed her speech, a sudden surprise call from a fellow astronaut Drew Feustel from NASA had something to say for her and everyone. Is that a call from ISS to Earth? Or From NASA to Earth?
The celebration of 2018 Canada's 151st Birthday is somewhat unforgettable
Who wont forget this one of a kind celebration at the Parliament Hill
if the Governor General is a former astronaut?
Constant cravings filled the air
The song popularized by K.D. Lang was sung by group of women,
young and adults dressed in puritan white, each one of them represented their race and their stories
from being an immigrant to becoming new citizen of Canada.
The many musical performers and dancers some were newly been introduced to the music scenes and some performers were famous ( Lights, Arkells, Elijah Wood, Jamie Fine, etc.) and multi-awarded in recognized award-giving bodies.
Other memorable speeches from Melanie Joly (Min. of Heritage) and from Mrs. Sophie Trudeau (the wife of Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau)
and
Where is the Prime Minister of Canada?
On another television news
PM Justin Trudeau
was celebrating Canada Day with the rest of Canadians
in another province of Canada
Who knows, he could be the parachutist!?
