The renovation was still undergoing at where my hubby works, the painting job was finished, the carpet was installed last Friday. The bifolds for the closets in 3 bedrooms were installed, the cleaning of the kitchen is finished and what else? Oh, the light fixtures were also installed, brand new light bulbs, brand new lamps on the ceiling. Cleaning of the floors (ceramic tiles at the kitchen), hard wood on the living room, bathrooms, windows, etc, etc. I couldn't wait to see that house when it is completely finished from all the works it need.
Anyway, for the time being...today is Sunday at 5 C outside and 22 C inside the house and the fireplace is burning again. Double heating actually: electric and gas. Expensive heating. It is not a rant or complaining about it. This is a blog and a diary.
Aside from all the housework at home, still have time to watch movies such as: Valerian and the Thousands Planet, whatever that title is don't care. The most impressive cinematography in"fantasy." The colors of aquamarine is breathtaking. Then have to watch the popular show "Saturday Night Live" with Nick Jonas as the guest singer and comedy performer. Good for him, he is always been invited at SNL. The brother who accompanied him informed him that he bought a house and still paying for it, making sure they still have the band. LOL.
My daughter and I watched the last news on TV. Same old news. Hate to see the same kind of news for more than a year. Happened to watch the last part of the documentary news about China investing in Ethiopia making it their "new frontier" on building their state of the art skyscrapers. Ethiopians are more Arab-looking kind of people. I don't know if the project building economy has something to do with "ancient racial breeding." It's their business, not mine. sorry. Taller brown Chinese with pointy noses in the making?
