I'm not sure whether it was Mr. Peter Mansbridge or another TV personality who interviewed a famous writer and in their conversation the man said that he'd rather concentrate on words that are not simple. What he meant by that? He needs to dig deeper like a scuba diver to release vocabulary words in his thoughts wherein every reader of his literary creative writings are beyond comprehensible or you will have to have a helper > the dictionary, encarta or encyclopedia to grasp the meaning word for word.
Sigh! What this man would like his readers to suffer from reading his articles. Anyway, I'd like to tackle such mind boggling creative reading once in a while. Yes when i have no other things to do than plain reading. You know reading only day and night. There are too many things to do in this world. If I have to read then look for the meaning of each word then better to throw those books away.
Even Shakespeare once said that to get the process done immediately is to simplify words. So tama na yang intriga at mga pasosyal sosyal nyong wala naman sa lugar.
I have to tell you a story about this old man. My husband and I was on the way to Safeway- a grocery store. Then on the pavement >sidewalk there was this old man walking. When he saw us he raised his hand, smiled and waved at us. I asked my husband who that guy is? He told me that he is the mayor of the town. Really? How could that be? I mean why is he walking not driving?
It turned out that walking is his exercise and by walking he meets the town people and some of them walked with him too. In his personal walk he was able to know what needs to be done in their town. He is open for conversation as he listened to the people's plea and problems and their stories. Not only the old man is the mayor, he is one of the richest man in town. He owned a travel agency and mind you he owned a helicopter too. I mean he is rich but he is humble and has a heart of gold. Humility made him a very wealthy man. (Uhm, how come Einstein was full of humility too but he died a poor lonely man?)
In Philippines, the late Mayor Yabut was like that. He of all political leaders are just like us. We may differ in outer appearance but deep inside us we all have the same organs, we have the heart to know and inspire. Then another one I need to mention. You remember Chiquito Pangan? That guy is really a down to earth person. He is full of sense of humor, a comedian, a natural born leader. Too bad, too bad these good natured people are already dead. What a life! Good people who are good in politics are taken away. What's left behind are those rotten ones. OMG!
Anyway, don't worry there is so much time. One of these days we'll find the best leader that we can communicate entirely with what we have in our mind. Someone who knows like God-send leader who will lead us to the right path instead of sending us to "nowhere man." Ups that's a show. Hehe
Okay a hint> people not good on politics are great when it comes to economy. You know why? They have economic advisers that's why. Government is not only bureaucratic but structural. You can see it on its emblem or seals.
Okay people let us read the Da Vinci Code once again. Darn!
