Because the cold boring weather wont cooperate with us here in our community I am back to my sewing expertise, adding lining to my black square pants. Not the square pants of Spongebob but a different style has similarity with the shogunate of Japan. All I need is a sharp shiny double blade samurai. Ows!

Yeah I have this natural love or fondness for having the same style of pants worn by the courageous shoguns in the Tokugawa Dynasty. It only reminds me of the many telemovies made by the famous Shintaro-the blind samurai. You know him? Maybe not. My friend Miyuki  cannot even recognized the guy. She doesn't know who Shintaro or Watanabe or Kobe. It made me look old. Ah those old series we watched in our old Sylvania television, black and white (no colored TV yet in 1971).Sige na nga kamukha nya si star Trek William Shatner. Aahhahahah. Bulag nga talaga ako eh.

Okay forget it if a Japanese doesn't knew who Shintaro is, nor the other shoguns and ninjas maybe, maybe Shintaro was actually a Japanese Filipino actor. It could be the youngest version of Fernando Poe the actor. They have the same face resemblance. Don't you think so?

Anyway, I went shopping for some fabric and found some imported textiles from China. It could be from China. Who else would have manufactured such intricate expensive looking textiles. So my first thing in mind flashed an idea about what style is best suited to that kind of sateeny fabric. I have two simple options. I hope the end result is more than pleasing or else I would have to resort buying another fabric or rather purchase an already made blouse. Whatever.

I received a newsletter from school. Great I don't need to look at their website. I don't know if I have to inform you about what's up there or it's their business to inform others? They will host a Christmas Craft Fair showcasing : Clothing, jewelry, crafts, cards, toys and food. Their school food concession is also open for those who would like to taste their delicious yummy delicacies. Where is that Fair Trade located? Here's the address if you are interested.
