When it comes to DONATION or FUND-RAISING CAMPAIGN you'll have a very huge problem with that when you don't explain to them in its entirety where its going and what that funding means to you and the organization. Without explanation > You'll be hearing a lot of nonsense and a lot of screaming misfit. Hissy fit! Well that's not new to me. Actually most of the people have the burden of paying too much tax for every commodities they bought and maybe if they wont pay any tax for goods and services there'll be a lot of miracles.
Miracles that you'll have lots of garbage on the shore, on the road and everywhere. There'll be no garbage collectors and dilapidated roads and highways wont be fix nor we'll have good weather. It's gonna be gloomy all day and night. Low income families wont receive any benefits. You wont receive GST cheques and medicare will be very, very costly. It would be like living in a third world country.
How you can expect to have an organized fireworks and other yearly festivals here such as parade, annual wood carving event, salmon festival, dragon boat race is you must thank the many businesses in our community, within the city.
I must be mistaken that somehow the country is run by CAPITALISTS. People who owns business establishment, big corporations and enterprises that collect and generate income for the city and their offer of gratitude to their customers is supposedly through these annual event. Not bad! It's a matter of a joint forces. Joint effort to provide a unified annual celebration to make the living enjoy what life is all about and spread the GOOD SPIRIT WITHIN. It's nothing without your help to say the least.
VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS NEEDED TO DO THE TASK. There, that's the conflict sometimes in this event. If its only an annual happening VOLUNTEERISM is a MUST! Can't give any donation? VOLUNTEER FOR THE SAKE OF THE TRUE SPIRIT OF COOPERATION and UNITY in your COMMUNITY.
