What A Big Surprise!

To start the day right I already have a plan. I will post all the herbs planted in our garden. We have sage, chives, curry plant, fennel, parsley, chinese cilantro (kinchay) they are real good alright. Those herbs make every meal delicious and attractive to look at because of its aromatic content, qualities, and bright colors.

This morning before 7 am, while washing few plates and saucer on our sink at the kitchen I was surprised when suddenly a big dog was there roaming around the yard. The brown dog stopped at the clematis plant of our neighbor and abruptly lifted one of its legs and then aimed at the clematis and peed on it. I couldn't help laughed at what the animal did. There are so many places where he could go and urinate. Why right through that gorgeous plant?

Then he left. The dog left and I followed the dog where its going. I peeked through our kitchen door and noticed that he stopped by at our lily plant and then right there where the parsley and barberry plants he sprayed its fury of urine, he peed again. This time I yelled and screamed and called my husband to look at that big dog outside our yard. When my husband reached our door the brown dog gladly wag its tail and came running towards my husband. The dog didn't bark. It was playful and kind. The dog, which is a bloodhound seems to like Lorne, my husband. I told him to be careful it might bite. It's a stranger's dog and it's really, really a big dog probably weighing 200 lbs. It has big long ears. The dog looks domesticated, harmless and it never bark so unlike some other dogs who keep on barking even when there's nothing to bark at or no particular reason. My husband was looking for its dog tag or maybe it has its owner's telephone number so that he can phone whether it's a lost dog or stray dog or what. I don't like keeping such a big bloodhound in my house even if its look clean, tame or harmless. The dog has no tag at all. I was thinking of taking a picture. But the dog went to the front yard and we followed it there. I waved my hand at the brown dog and it came running joyfully with its tail wagging. Uhm, weird ha. The brown dog is almost like the size of a pony. After few minutes the dog went through the other way heading north of the street. I was taking pictures at the backyard when I heard loud barking at the neighbor's yard and there it was...the dog finally found its former home...the house with the gazebo.

It was not long ago but barely two days ago when we had a sudden visitor. It was a cat not a dog. A black cat with green sharp eyes. I tried to wave hand at it but it didn't move as if it's just black statue in there beside the fence. Waited for it to move. We keep staring at each other then finally for about ten minutes the black cat moved its eyes and moved its legs. That's the only movement I have seen for the entire period of being there alone on the yard beside the fence. What is wrong with that cat? His life is pretty boring.

I tried to investigate where the bloodhound sprayed its urine. Well dude, the dog just sprinkled on barberry plant not on the parsley. Thank goodness.

Just in case you want to have an interest on that black cat here's the picture and it will stare back at you. He he he!
