The Conscious & The Unconscious

The Book
::::
 Bugs buzzing around now? It must be hot out there! Great for the bees they know where to turn to. They can fly to where the food is.

While they buzz and keep buzzing it's time to get busy with work at home like sorting out clothes. Folding clothes, coats, towels, pants, etc. I keep doing this work for the past two hours and I realized that it's time to cook once again.

On my spare time there is that something worthwhile I must do as if it's a ritual. I read books. This is my favourite book as shown above, PERSONALITY and PERSONAL GROWTH by Robert  Frager and James Fadiman. The names are so familiar eh? My father-in-law's name is Robert James. He's not Frager nor Fadiman. He is Robert James Turner (Rest in peace Dad!)

This book is a compilation of the works of famous psychiatrists, psychoanalysts, psychologists and therapist around the world such as Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, Frederick, Carl Gustav, B. F. Skinner, William James, and other doctors - physicians knowledgeable in personality growth.

Their works are vital to educating yourself about your character, attitude, behaviour and the many factors of human growth.

Questions you may find annoying, troublesome and thoughts that don't make sense? Thought-provoking? You can read this helpful book to better understand yourself.

The pyramid of the MIND that may concern your intelligence. First to know the CONSCIOUS and the UNCONSCIOUS.

THE CONSCIOUS: Persona and Ego. This deals with your SELF as a human being. Your conscious self is your personality traits that you are aware of. You have control about your own attitude and behaviour.

UNCONSCIOUS: Deals with your innermost feelings such as dreams. You are in a dream state including nightmares and you have no control of except that you can wake up if you can. Hypnosis an or being in hypnotic state is being unconscious. During an operation or in surgery wherein you were under the effect of general anaesthesia and you have no power to wake up or do anything because you are drugged by the power of a powerful pain medication and anaesthesia. You are not being aware of yourself and surroundings. Unconsciously, is a state of not able to control a situation.

Thus, this reminds you that  being CONSCIOUS is being powerful to control any condition or situation that will affect your body mind and spirit.

Be VERY AWARE! Awareness is the key to survival. Extension to the collective consciousness + unconsciousness may lead to sixth sense. Wow! How amazing that part of the MIND.
