Are You A Teacher?

Tomorrow is WORLD TEACHERS' DAY. If you are a teacher how you will celebrate the day that signifies your profession and the relevance of your work in educating the many students and the many children around the world?

You know that teachers educate not only children but adults in the place of work, and that workplace is called schools or university.

I had many years of being a student and I know how dedicated our teachers in teaching, helping, supporting and acting as mentors to their students. At school, they are our second "mothers" simply their way of educating us to help us and encourage us to be the future leaders, workers, teachers, and God knows what will become of us once we have that kind of education with valid certification and merit. Yeah, provided that if there are available work or source of employment. Opportunity where are you?

Our heartfelt gratitude to those teachers who are so devoted with their work that they almost forget about their own family and friends (no pun intended) there are teachers who would rather get busy and worked so hard, diligently, taking so much of their time educating their students the proper way that they don't have time for themselves. There are movies that best represent these truly one of a kind dedicated teachers: "Monalisa Smile," School Ties, The Emperor's Club, then Albert Einstein was the best example of a teacher who forgot that time ever exist because his method of teaching is out of this world. I had teachers who didn't get married, end up as old maids because they were highly devoted to their work. They think that the only way they can help their students to reach their goals and ambition is through their method of teaching, in a very conservative old school or orthodox kind of teaching. For a slight of comedy, think of Mr. Young (the 14 year old genius as a High School teacher), Mrs. Byrnes who cannot forget the war on 1812. Mr. Sikowitz of Hollywood Arts who seem to forget he needs to change clothes and forget sipping coconut juice but his method proven to be effective with the cast of Victorious in Hollywood Arts. The more outrageous, eccentric and weird your teachers the more they are happy in teaching students. Strange! Their outlook in life also taught the basic knowledge that you don't have to be judgmental about people. Learn the truth about "don't judge the book by its cover."

It's the AMBITION that makes someone achieve their goal and purpose in life. It's the higher ambition that leads someone to oblivion. It's because of this higher, bigger ambition that drives one to achieve and fulfill their dreams in better light of days. You have to be ambitious to get what you want and be independent.

Never to judge people with disability because you'll never know they were actually genius and they have more hearts than you can ever imagine. Do not judge the autistics because they have knowledge and skills that you don't have.

Anyway, whether you are a teacher or a blogger- writer, you are making a difference in the minds of many students, young and adults. Happy Teachers' Day! Make their dreams come true!
