I started with my sewing project turning the piece of new shawl that I bought recently into a blouse. The shawl is quite long and wide, more than a meter in measurement. I love the color of raspberry pink, white, light pink and maroon (checkered or gingham) but let me tell you it's a very delicate fabric that I have problem sewing such textured fabric. The weave is not masinsin, not a 450 thread count, it's not even 350 thread count. I was almost finished sewing the last finishing touches then my fingernails got stuck to its strand and ruined the fabric. This is my first time to sew such fabric that is so delicate and it needs a special kind of thread, needle and sewing machine. Because my nails got caught to its strand and it has runs already, grabe nakakainis dahil manipis nga yung tela. I wonder what kind of fabric because it's not cotton nor polyester. I crumpled the blouse and tossed it inside the plastic sewing trunk. The hell with it. I decided I'd better cook something for dinner. Just as I got out from my room my husband and my son arrived home from work. Their work clothes filled with paint stains. They started with cleaning up the newly built-house from its drywall debris on the floor. Taping, doing the primer and then second coating of paint on the ceiling and walls. They are probably hungry and tired. Yeah, better concentrate on cooking not sewing. Just wait for the drop in price of trendy clothing from the department stores. Lay-away or look for discounted priced items at Superstore and Walmart, Reitman's or Winners. There are clothes that wont fit perfectly for my big, fat body but I could do the proper alterations only if my sewing machine would function the way it should be before. Um, my patience is acting up. I'm supposedly the most patient human being, my patience is known the world over and now? OMG! Right, I'm getting old and my patience is starting to suck big time. Crazyworld! Waterworld?
Is your patience bothering you also? I sometimes can't watch an entire movie due to boredom and because some of the stories are so boring and can make everyone feels sleepy. I'm not getting younger... I'm getting older. To think that most of the candidates for political office are older than me and seems to forget what happened in Canada (economy and politics) for the past five years. Think of Canada since 1990, check Canadian history from that time period to 2015 and you'll find out that GST and PST has changed dramatically and you'll know who are more knowledgeable about the economy of Canada but those people who watched television news everyday. When it comes to climate? It was unusually warmer since year 2000 to 2015. We have unusually unpredictable weather. That sometimes we blamed the weather forecasters or astronomers of such error in forecasting. Error or wind change.
Too many Canadians are pledging to VOTE. Yeah, Canadians show your true colors, VOTE ON OCTOBER 19, 2015 and show the world that you have the right and freedom to vote. Make your votes count. It's your right and privilege to VOTE and use it wisely.
