Count Your Blessings and Be Thankful

I went downstairs to have my morning coffee at our kitchen leaving behind the gift upstairs which I want to give my husband the gift later. While I was brewing my coffee I heard my husband uttering words "old, too old..." He keeps saying those words many times then he told me that his sister Marcy will also celebrate her birthday the next day and she's probably 60 years old, his eldest sister Adele will be over 74 years old in November and Tina? I don't know how old is sister Tina.

People, all people grow old and we can't stop people from growing old. How we can all live forever?
There's forever young and Highlander the movie depicting about highly exceptional humans who never grow old and they never die. Adam and Eve lived for 900 years and Methuselah live an extra long life.

We must thank God that we are alive and we are more accepting of our fate. We must be grateful for the many blessings we had since at the time of our birth.

Anyway, wishing my husband will celebrate his birthday with his family in mind. I know that he works too much. He is overworked and he of all workers think about work 24 hours a day. Hard to believe that eh? Having 79 tenants (79 families) and 4 townhouses and apartments to manage and attend to everyday he is over-fatigued. He loves to work and he loves being at the place of work. Every employer likes his work ethics and they are happy with the way he handles work assigned to him. He should have an award for best employee or for being the best Landlord Manager.
