Only in 1998 when suddenly the boom of computers became massively commercialized. Thanks to Bill Gates, the founder of Windows 98. Every human can use computer without the need to be a government official, or every civilian can use computer for everyday personal use. Then the dreaded Y2K bug made Windows 98 obsolete and Windows 2000 rose to power. At present time Windows 10 is what majority of internet users used for day to day work with computers. It made Bill Gates the most powerful and wealthy human in the world. It became IT. Hard to believe that computer which is only used for the military is being used now by every human beings in the world. Is it good? probably better. We have teachers in every machine. There is a command module that guides every computer user. Children are becoming smarter than usual normal way. Their learning of "everything" from minute organisms to giant dinosaurs are evidently seen and heard. Their knowledge about the world from the surroundings, environment, the space around us and the satellites that power the intelligence behind the government and the services offered to every human beings around the world.
It's true that the we are saving the world because of computers. Imagine a 1TB storage that holds the whole entire space for a National Library of information amounting to millions of books (in paper)and that's equivalent of a whole forest within a thousand square mile of one's country. To include the ink in the printing of such millions of books? Where to get the ink? Imagine the pollution of such printing? Anyway it's a mind boggling thinking about it can make the Scientist's head spinning.
