Just Another Story

Once there was a novelist whose criteria of novella writing is having a patient secretary who knows short hand. The author would like his novel so secured because he is very technophobic. He doesn't rely on the modern gadgets, doesn't believe in the safety and security on using computer, laptop, iPod or any modern tech equipment to record his stories. He knew that it's easy for hackers to hack anything that's being put up, posted or written or stored in computer. Despite that so called anti-virus, anti spyware software installed in the computer as protection. So he hired a stenographer to do it for himself storing all the stories he wants to make into books. STENO. Short hand. The same kind of steno records of what's being discussed inside the court to protect the victims, the accuser, prosecutor, and the accused. If you'll noticed inside the court there is the presence of the stenographer who records everything, every details of what is being said by all those involved in the case:
1. Accused
2. Police escort
3. Barrister
4. Judge
5. Clerks of the Court
^
Anyway, that's not really the point of discussion here but of the story between the stenographer and the author. So he relied so much on the stenographer's short hand to record his novel and he knew it will be protected that no one can able to decipher what the story is all about until the time of publishing and until the time the book is published in public.

However, what happened to the record in paper whether it was of steno production? Well the stenographer went home once stormy weather, out from the taxi, about to step out from the open door car, the wind blew mightily so hard, and her portfolio and attache case was blown away by unruly wind. The attache case was abruptly opened when it fell near the drain on the ground. She was shocked but able to grab some the paper scattered on the ground. She was screaming nervously, crying thinking of the amount of what was put into the making of that novel.   Too late though, the water got them all wet, including the whole steno book containing the author's record of novel. Months of storing the data, months of protecting the data gone to waste. The stenographer tried to re-write it on how she understand his novel as it was dictated to her anyway  but the right words and the right timing on how the writer's able to have the plot and the suspense in every details are gone. For it's only the true real writer or author who can put back the life in his own story. For only a good writer who can save his own words in details, the correct account of the whole story because it belongs to him. ONLY him alone knows his own story and only him who can do justice to his own story.

P.S. The story above is actually an old movie. I forgot the title and the actor and actress. It was a movie not even seen in the cinema maybe it was not approved or in this generation wherein MOVIES are not really much of value to the moviegoers because of too much piracy and you can view them thr. the net or through TV channels offering daily specials on many old and new movies.
