Fashion Is My Passion

Keeping myself busy once again. As long as there's fabric I wont be idle. I wish for bundles, tons of textile. Any fabric, any textile, any color and texture as long as it keeps me busy the whole day through.

 And I gathered few retazo from the old trunk and had fun so much fun that I was consumed by this obsession almost forgot that I have so many things to accomplish.

Life is not about sewing. It's not always to be one particular hobby, there should be a way out to do something else aside from the usual.

I can go shopping for clothes, new dress, skirt or pants or for whatever the occasion calls for. The problem is there's no particular dress that I really like to those where I shopped before. They don't have what I really like. So the only possible way is to shop for fabric and make my own clothes that will fit me and will be of good taste to my fuzzy choosy taste. I am not conservative nor do I have conservative taste when it comes to clothing, when it comes to fashion. I want to be "in fashion" without breaking the bank nor hurt my pocket or purse. I have an upbeat type fashion that is not conservative nor ultra modern. I am in between of what is just appropriate for my age. That's the problem. Department stores don't have that good sense when it comes to fashion for the middle aged people. They thought when you're over 40 you should wear  your grandma's clothing and accessories. People grow old but their sense of fashion and passion never dies. It lives forever.
