For the meantime let's have those fillets for supper. Somebody asked me how I cooked salmons. There are too many species of salmons from sockeye, chinook, steelhead, spring salmons to coho salmon. Veteran fishermen would prefer to catch the sockeyes because of its beautiful scale color and because sockeye specie is the best of all the best...it is the most delicious salmon that's why it's expensive. Hard to catch too if you know what I mean.
For simple meal and you want to taste and savor a juicy, tasty fresh salmon all you need for ingredients are:
2 tbsp. of salt (just the right amount for my taste)
dash of ground pepper
sprinkle 1 tbsp. of ground oregano
1 tbsp of mixed lemon, herbs, spices Clubhouse brand
squeeze sriracha spicy sauce on one piece of salmon fillet (optional : sriracha is too spicy for those who are not used to spicy sauce it can be overwhelming).
Place the fillet of salmons on a bakeware or pyrex before you sprinkle those ingredients above.
Additional ingredients: put tbsp. of butter and slices of ginger on top of the salmons. (you can shred the ginger into desired amount and size if you want)
Cover the bakeware or pyrex with aluminum foil. Place it on the oven at 400 degrees centigrade and bake it for 20 minutes.
If the salmon fillet is so thick it will take more minutes to cook it. Try to broil it this time for another 10 to 15 minutes until the surface of the salmon is golden brown.
Here's the result of the best salmon ever. It's yummy-yummy good.
