You Want A Total Drama Island Version?

Because I was busy moving our stuff, furniture, work tools and machines and other household appliances to the newfound home I was away most of the time from my workstation. I told myself no more computer for a week because of this busyness.

Moving in to another place and into another neighborhood is stressful. Not only the heavy loads of carrying, hauling big boxes, or big totes can make somebody pulled their groin but carrying boxes from one place to another is simply irritating, lots of work and heavy on gas too for the vehicle when it's done back and forth, back and forth from the old house to the new house. Actually the house we're to lease based on its agreement is not a newly-built house rather it's probably a ten year old or fifteen year old house adjacent to the many amenities in that location. It is a fairly nice area where nicely landscaped yard and colonial style houses are evidently seen. It's more like a scenery in America rather than Canada. New England style ala Washington era. Great! I love the area. I love the scenery and most of all I can hear noise from people walking and talking then noise from vehicles coming and going from our street to the next street.

The owner's agent hand over the two keys to my husband and I get to choose one from my husband's hand. I have chosen the circular white label tag leaving the white and red color key holder for my husband. The next day we started the moving in of our stuff, totes, boxes mostly carpentry tools and paint tools, pressure washer, saw cutter, workbench, heavy to light stuff, garden tools, including lawnmowers and John Deere lawn tractor. He doesn't know where he can park his boat because there is that big RV parked at the side of the fence and occupies the space supposedly for the boat. The realtor said she will move it. Ah, don't know what really transpired to their conversation and agreement.

I concentrated on cleaning the cupboards, the fridge, the kitchen counter, cleaning the laminated floor, and the glass door (French doors style). My daughter helped clean the glass windows with windex. She gest so tired so easily so she said she wants to go back home. I changed the dark brown curtain into blue suede fabric and white lace interlay curtain (drapery) at the middle,  on the glass doors at the dining room.
Wow! It was so classy! It was stylish and feminine I think. The lace curtain (swag) at the kitchen window is really beautiful. The lace curtains are so dainty and nice that it offers a Victorian style touch to the house. Country-Victorian style. Hmm, what to do with the country-style dining set that we have? It has blue color trimmings that best coordinate with the curtain. However the kitchen and dining room space is really small. There is no space for another dining set unlike in our home before. The living room is somewhat smaller than what we had.

Sure, we are not happy. Our house has ceramic floor tiles at the kitchen and bathrooms. The granite counter tops and glass, ceramic style tiles on the kitchen walls a plus and the real solid wood floor is genuine not laminated. However, there is no other available 3 bedroom house that 's available in the realty market and the house is closer to what we need for the time being. Although I can give them applause on fairly new microwave, new dishwasher, new water tank yehey, vaulted ceiling with huge electric fan at the living room. What a bonus eh? Two bath tubs at the 2 bathrooms looked new and clean. The 4 tall or higher than normal windows are a little over the edge. The four glass windows have long light brown curtains (drapes). Sosyal ang dating eh! At least the curtains are included in the house furnishing. Some other houses offer free blinds and window screens.

Anyway, even if my son Tyrel and husband seem uneasy and disapproved of the setting because they never thought at first that the house looks smaller when all our furniture are brought in. My house here (that was sold was actually bigger in size and spacious). The kitchen is bigger in size because it can fit in two dining sets, a pantry, china cabinet,  and a 5 ft. work desk.  Our living room is bigger, has wider space and separate from the kitchen. No wonder our house was bought right away within a month's advertisement through the internet. It's my husband's house!!!!!!!!!

It's too late now. The house is sold. Darn! We can get by with that new 3 bedroom house with vaulted ceiling, up and down built like a split-level and enclosed fence yard at the back. Right, at least it has privacy for our patio entertaining project or barbecue party. Ha ha! Okay that's fun already. I am thinking way ahead of time and there'll be no roaming deer around the yard and no more racoons and other rodents pestering the neighborhood. Most of all there is no dry leaves falling during autumn because the trees around the yard are mostly cedar and some perennials which wont shade any bark like the birch or leaves from maples and oak trees.

To tell you frankly, I'm not in my best mood nor do I feel in the best of times. I had colds it seems like flu actually if I don't watch out. I've been sneezing so much, having runny nose, my head hurts. Yes I have a headache. It started when those cottonwood seeds were all over the air floating and flying everywhere plus moving in to another house probably caused it to get worse. The kitchen and bathroom spray cleaner that I inhaled when cleaning not purposely but because I should have used mask to cover my nose and mouth. Airborne? I used gloves though when cleaning surfaces because the cleaning supply that I used are somewhat very powerful. There, so powerful that I feel so sick right now. I will continue to blog next time when everything is alright. Good day to my friends and readers who continuously support me and my family in this dramatic blogworld. THANK YOU! This is my version of TDI. Total Drama Island: My Version.
