Have you seen the NAKED & AFRAID television show about two human beings with clothes in their bodies and have to strip down all their clothes at the site where they are supposed to try the survivalist game show. They were given the MAP, and 2 sets of bags and inside the bags are their choice of survivalist low tech gadget or device to survive in the forest. This time the setting is the upland, mountains in India. The two participants: the woman is a caucasian and the man is black american, once worked as a soldier. They both climbed the mountains up to the point that air got so thin and the altitude is making them so tired and helpless and almost out of breath. They don't have any food nor water inside their bag, just those two survival kit ax and fire starter. They saw a source of water from a small stream. The woman who was gasping for breath from a high altitude mountain and because she was thirsty she couldn't help but drink the dirty water. She knew it was dirty. It should be boiled first at least so that she wont get sick but she drunk from the dirty stream right away. After few hours she was vomitting, her stomach hurts, she was so weak and having so much problems, headache, weak muscles, she's having LBM, taking crap every now and then. The man whose her partner in this show couldn't help her. They don't have any medication, no first aid kit, nothing to cure her from her ailment. However he managed to build a makeshift house made from those twigs, dried grass, cut pieces of wood from the branches of trees.. The woman who couldn't function was asked by the crew if she needs to tap out because she was suffering from dysentery. Well she needs to drink lots of fluids and hopefully there's a coconut water for her to drink or diatabs or pepto bismol to cure her LBM. However she doesn't want to tap out instead she continued with the show and the black guy and her continued to be in the house that they were able to keep adding more stuff of twigs on the roof. Then they collected rocks and slabs of stones for their oven pit so that they can build fire. They were inside their "house" when thunder and lightning strikes. For their food they gathered crabs, small crabs hiding from under slabs of stones. That's their meal including ample amount of live earthworms. I couldn't believe she is eating live worms. What's wrong with her? Is that part of the show? That's brutal! That's inhumane. Then the woman found a dead blue jay on the water. They barbecued the bird and have it also as part of their meal. Thank goodness they cooked it first before they ate the magpie. They finished the 21 day period of being in the wilderness and it was getting cold. Good that they were able to finish the time and days allocated to finish their ordeal or else they will both die of hypothermia. Their safety ride was from a pick up truck with caged chicken.
What is the point for this NAKED & AFRAID show? Is there a million dollar prize? How much is the reward, prize and award? At least with AMAZING RACE there's a MILLION DOLLARS PRIZE!
SURVIVORS has MILLION DOLLAR PRIZE! If you have to risk your life, why not have prizes? It's not worth risking your life for nothing. THINK! A human being has a rational human mind that can think and logical thinking is a must including conscience.
Now what? Masterchef? Who will win? Whatever! Whoever! The veteran cook should win.
AMERICAN IDOL? Is there a prize? It's no use singing in a TV Show without prize and worse of all if the prize is nonsense.
