W. I. S. H.

A joyful, triumphant drive and ride to the South Island Highway. I used to call this highway as WISH.  I viewed the shore and wonder whether I can capture the best view. No chance. There's no chance to stop by. I can see that the water is up almost at the ramp.It is high tide due to the heavy storm we had for almost a week. Flooding some parts of the city. Well you can't see the flood at this point in time. There are so many logs on the water floating along the shore. I told my husband that those logs can be free firewood for some families for their chimneys. .. rather fireplace. They have to dry those wood though, because they were soaked for too long on sea water. Besides, to gather those logs in different sizes would be such a hassle because you have to ask permit first from the municipal or government agency.

Along Black Creek are several cattle grazing on cold grassy land. There are few horses with coverings on their back and some horses without cover. The way they stood on the field looks like they are feeling the cold. Frigid temperature. Hopefully the weather will change in few hours and days.

There are stores along the highway and one of them is the Military store for second hand used goods or products that some people think they are still  useful and affordable.

Oh, wow! I finally saw the herds of sheep grazing on fresh grass at the farm. Did you know that so many t-shirts and scarves made of smooth, shiny wool? I first thought they are part silk and or cotton shirts but turned out they are made from wool fabric.

The next block is something very freaky. I found the area similar to  a scene from a movie.
Yeah, it's foggy, cold and hot temperature blazing at the same time leads to a foggy situation.

Whoosh. Oh hello there Mr. Fogg! Ahahhahaha! Absolutely stunning. Then the rest of the sceneries are blurry because driving in that area needs to be fast or else the drivers at the back of our vehicle will be ruthlessly wicked.

My husband is a good driver. He always follows the rule of the law. You should too.

There's that Sunnydale Golf Course and you have to stop by and admire the view. It's cold out there, but there are golfers in that area golfing their way on the right hand side, however the driving should be at 80 kms/hr in this part of the highway so we decide to proceed to where we should buy gifts and hopefully the receiver will be thankful and thoughtful just like us. lol. j/k

This is the site of the new Comox Hospital. It could be one of the largest hospital in this area. Another hospital is also being built along side the old hospital in Campbell River City. Is that good? It is super duper good because the construction of a very huge building requires a large quantity and quality as much as qualified human resources for laborers, engineers, architect, economic planner, carpenters, crane operators, electricians, etcheterra. Next if the construction is finished, what the hospitals need are hospital workers: doctors, medical practitioners, surgeons, physical therapists, nurses, ward men, caregivers, janitorial services, paramedics, etc.

HOWEVER, it's just the beginning. Just wait and see as time goes by.

After  more than an hour shopping at Costco we dropped by at Mountain Ridge.

They have what we need.
Fresh Christmas tree and fresh wreath.

The tree farm is filled with healthy and beautiful trimmed Christmas trees that will wonderfully adorned your fabulous homes for the Holidays.

How about you? Do you have your Christmas tree for Year 2014?
