A while ago I watched the Marketplace, a television show features documentary on investigative report about almost anything that the reporter/host wants to be the topic discussion in that very interesting show.
In this particular episode the experts tackled about counterfeits: from fake garments to fake wrist watches, bags, computer gadgets and devices. Also fake drugs, medicines, art works of famous painters and masks to conceal a person's identity.
Their target of fake importers/exporters of anything fakes came mostly from China because there are "schools" where highly skilled students are known to be able to copy anything from famous artworks of Van Gogh to Da Vinci to Michael Angelo, etc. wow! Can they also clone real people?
Scientists in America were able to clone Dolly the Sheep, they can probably clone humans. Or there are already walking clones amongst us! Oh my, sounds creepy!
Let's be honest here. What if those counterfeits are just REJECTED PRODUCT from the same factory or manufacturing plant? They are real genuine products from the same place of origin but because the workers made faulty crooked stitches on its leather purse. The quality control checked it as rejected and dumped it on the dumpsite. The collector of imperfections gathered them and sold them in the black market to make revenues from it instead of burning them. Is that wrong? Just my own opinion. I don't know how they make out of such bargaining. Would you like to buy an imported product like Chanel bag for its worth $5,000? The answer is no! Why? I think that's too GREEDY of the manufacturer to sell such bag for that high price. Not only it's costly but its the worth of a second hand car that runs like new. So as a smart buyer you will pay only $500 for that kind of leather bag which is a complete knock off. What's the problem? It's a bag and it's a genuine leather. Any bags that is worth over a thousand dollars is a complete cheat and making a fool of every customer who bought such bag. For millionaires they can buy bags for any cost but that doesn't make them smart. Whatever!
