Time For Gardening

I said it's warm and gorgeous the weather condition and suddenly there was that peculiar movements up there in the sky. I shoot several photographs outside our house before the sudden pour. Took pictures of the young cherry tree flowers with all those dainty light pink blossoms. The two cherry trees had white blossoms, these two trees are the fruit bearing but who knows if it really will bring fruit this time. Last year, only one tree bore one cherry fruit from its young branch.

After my photography session, here comes my husband who brought home some bags of potting soil and pots of young plants such as petunias, boxwood and other perennial (hybrid daisies in different colors and hues).

There are several pots of mums which are  different from the previous mums that we bought from Costco. We planted them in the new house to make the yard looks appealing and attractive. My daughter Tam helped in the gardening and watering of the new plants. She is that very helpful to me and her dad.

We have a good neighbor who lent us his watering jug because we forgot our own jug. How nice eh? Thank you neighbor! I told my husband, that to meet new friends or new neighbors tell them you don't have those tools and you've got to borrow something from them. My sister met new friends by giving away several of potted plants and floral to neighbors. I am not that friendly. I am that aloof nerdy and geeky and so as my children so meeting new friends is a taboo. It doesn't mean I am unkind nor my children it's just that we are not pretentious. We don't pretend to be kind. I brought my donations to the donation boxes and I don't need to meet people and show that it's me donating some stuff. You know what I mean?

I would rather have orchids but you know the island is in a state of having unpredictable climate. It doesn't know whether it will be a winter wonderland or a tropical Hawaiian island. Half of the island lies in the Pacific ocean and half to the Northern part of America and Canada.  Sometimes ... in the past when the island is tilted to the North due to the iceberg that lies heavily on its shoulder. Consider the island as the gateway to the North and South. A huge, long bridge! It could be the bridge. Bridge covered with land.

Once, my elementary teacher told us,  her class that there was a long land bridges connecting the Philippines from all parts of the world. That the archipelago was once connected through land bridges to the south, north, west, and eastern part of the world. But hold on, where's the original map of the world?
