Truly Monday!

OMG! It's Monday again!! What to do today when I did most of the housework yesterday? I went shopping already for few groceries that were on my list for sometime, then my husband had to do his shopping too for some few groceries at QF because we missed things simply because we can't find it at Walmart. By the way, Target has finally closed their doors in all Canadian outlets. Gone! Kind of sad for those who are unemployed or lose their jobs from the closure. Anyway, probably those employees were given sort of  "benefits" such as UI. Also, from what I read through the newspaper out there that Target need not to pay tax for its sudden closure. Really? Wow! They probably didn't even have a break-even. I feel sorry for this American retailer.

We are in search of some shelves or cabinets for the garage and the neighbor informed us that Target store have those shelves or metal cabinets that they also sell at the store. I don't think there's any of those shelves. It's best to try the Home Depot.

You know for such a small community of less than 50,000 people the city has so many business establishments. Just the restaurants and coffee shops alone you will wonder how these business really stand up. I mean, in comparison with the population in the small city in Philippines with at least one million up to 10 million people living in such "small area." But you know that if you open a restaurant or coffee shop people will come and stop by to have their lunch and dinner even if they have to queue, waiting for hours and hours to be served.

To have millions of people to reside within the island of Vancouver? Are you crazy? Provide millions of boats and life vest!
