Yes, it's true that the sky above British Columbia is hazy, smoky and not so clear because of the effect of the BC wild fires and the wild fires in other parts of Canada such as Saskatchewan. You probably have weather information through the many television news around the country. Even the computer news network provide information about the effect of the wild fire so for those who are travelling especially through BC air let me tell you that the air has that smog so it's kind of "foggy and unclear up in the air."

Although you are protected from the invisible radiation from above the sky, the smog has its negative effect such as bronchitis, bronchial pneumonia, asthma, lung and breathing problems, poor visibility, itchy eyes and blurry vision.
