I first thought I will not watch the PAN AM GAMES 2015 simply because I don't want to see how those athletes will compete and don't like getting disappointed just as I was disappointed when Vancouver Canucks failed always failed to win the Stanley Cup. They had the chance but how the hell they never win. That kind of feeling when I know that a team will win because they deserved it and then something happened wrongly or well, don't really know what happened to that hockey game. I should stop thinking about it and think that it's only a game, it's a sport played by business people. Forget it, as thing of the past.
PAN AM Games is totally different from the OLYMPIC GAMES, you know that for sure eh?! Pan Am Games is like an "expo." Hard to explain it so it's not really for me to explain and define it... maybe it's a Maslow. Games are better than war!
The Pan Am Games is memorable and surely wont be forgotten for so many years to come because those who participated in the torch relay were famous, fabulous and they were Olympians except the Gov. General of Canada Hon. David Johnston who also was a part of the torch relay. Steve Nash the NBA basketball star player for Phoenix Sun, lighted the cauldron. The opening ceremony was spectacular and stunning as always marked the high spirit of this wonderful game, torch relay from every part of the country, from high above the air, mountain, ocean, rivers and lakes,to the highest tower, every part of the community is highlighted and enlightened for this one of a kind world sports event.
Totally AMAZING!
The question is it worth it? For every Canadians, the games, every game and sports are worthy of praises, awards and prizes. Every effort is honored and appreciated. Canada's athletes are world class and one of the best when it comes to skills, strength and intelligence. It's the SPORTS (Games) that made Canada richer than your countries. Billions of dollars are gained from its revenues. It's GREAT FOR THE ECONOMY.
