I can only dream and make it into reality one day at a time. How about having so much fun right there in Hawaiian island, with the background music of > drumroll pls. > Hawaii Five-O! Cool refreshing wine glass of iced tequila on hand sunbathing in warm blue water of their famous beach surround myself with Hawaiian delicacy and fruits and have bites of delicious roast pig. Oopps first thought I'm on a diet. Erase...erase...
Oh darn what a delightful way to dream dreams. Well I had roast pig for dinner the other day, sole fillet with bread crumbs last nite and for tonight I might just have burritos Mexican style. That's if my mind wont change of the availability of raw food inside the fridge. I usually have two menu to choose from. Our dinner is the heaviest at supper time. Breakfast is just coffee and tasty bread with butter or croissant with butter or pancake. The usual breakfast. Boring? Not really because breakfast is something we can do without. Lunch is also a diet menu. Not so important. We can have sandwich, burger or pizza. Dinner as I told you the most difficult to plan. It's easy and cheaper to cook Filipino food unlike having to cook Canadian meal. Canadians don't like doctored food. Ayaw nila ng halo-halong gulay with meat. Gusto nila laging separate ang gulay at karne. Sawa na rin sila sa pancit. So pinakbet, stew and meat combined with other veggies are big no. Except of course kung sinigang ang main course. They love sinigang so much. That's why supermarket here in Canada also have specialty department for asian food. Their shelves are stocked with products from Philippines such as: pancit bihon, pancit canton, sinigang broth, patis, marca pinia soy sauce, banana sauce, grated cassava, ingredients for halo-halo, etc.
Marketing Filipino products here in Canada is easy and accessible depends on how many Asian residents in one area or community. Fortunately the kind of food that Filipinos have for their meals are also the kind of food for the Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Malays, and other nationalities from asian countries. In this age and time many Westerns and Europeans would like to try what asian people have for their meal this is because of the multi-cultural organizations dedicated to enhancing the diversity within the province wont be hindrance to the progress and development of the country. The question is ... Canada a country or a Nation? Until now the teacher's strike is on going its third day and the news on TV is busy with Robocalls. Really? Now will 'ya check the date today? Are we still here on earth? Baka naman nasa Venus na tayo or sa Mars. OMG! We're in Saturn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay just to let you inform that whatever we are dreaming and whatever we have to pursue in life always take a chance to read this book above. Yes dudette, I am a bookies right now. Once in a while I have to relax and read books and one of my books is ECONOMICS book by Blomqvist and Wonnacott. ^There stare at the giant iceberg and how this obra maestra seemed to look like the shape of the "figurines."
Now that I'm finished with my "lecture" for today I will continue my sewing. Hasta la vista and have more fun!
