I let you see where "sleeping beauty" lives on the ocean along the mountain covered with snow. It's more like the Princess and the Pea but who cares? To others it is the "sleeping dragon." Whatever you may call the Discovery islands that offer mysteries no more... unless you add more bewitching mysteries to it.
Bewitched. Bewildered.
You cannot walk on this part of the island. Forbidden. Follow the rule of law.
Big boulder of rocks were put together on that side of the road to prevent erosion and supposedly to prevent flood on the highway. During stormy days, tidal waves reached the shore and the highways. You wont believe what storm looks like in this part of the island.
I could just sit on one of the boulders there and reminisce the good old days. Maybe a family picnic is such an amazing way to celebrate on that side of the beach. Oh actually we did. We had barbecue picnic at the shore together with my children and friends. That was ten years ago. Sharing food , just shish-kebabs, veggie salad, pork bbq and marshmallows plus hotdogs on the bamboo sticks are already fun and joyous. I wonder when will we have such memorable fun time again on that beautiful beach.
Okay enough reminiscing. TIME TO GET HOME! It's great to be back at HOME again. New planters, new plants to cheer me up. Young vibrant stalks of New Zealand flax a must see and another young Japanese maple tree adds life to our family garden. My husband, my kids helped unload the loads of grocery from our pick-up truck and once again time to cook again.
