It's the 8th of November 2016 and few hours from now it's the 9th. I sometimes do things in advance. It's my kind of agenda. I was trained like that to "always be prepared" just like girl scouts do. Actually I was like that in Elementary School, being the Class President and the one who kept the classroom keys. Yep, I was the key holder for the classroom door and the keys for the steel bookcase that stores the 40 hardbound book for mathematics and 40 hardbound books for English subject. Why I was given that responsibility in Grade School? The bookcase is worth as much as the brand new hardbound books. Hundred thousand pesos worth of books plus steel cabinet with sliding glass door are so expensive wayback in the '70's. I was the Class President. I have to look after the class room and my classmates and I worked as a student teacher. I regulate the school attendance and I managed the cleanliness and order of the class when my teacher is away. I closed and opened the entrance door of our class room everyday. I can't go home until the cleaners finished their job of cleaning the room. The school has no janitor to clean the class rooms. The students must clean the rooms after class and I have to wait for everyone to go home and locked the door. Every morning have to wake up early and open the class room for my classmates to get in and be seated accordingly. I have to water the hanging plants at the windows. What kind of plants? It's the same kind of plants that we have at home... the fortune bamboo. I have to sell candies and nutribuns and the profit is meant to purchase chalk, eraser, and cleaning materials for the class room. Simply the role of Class President is magnified in how law and order is followed in the room and the presence of business (economics) with profit and to think that I have to excel in all of my subjects keeping my grades (marks) higher than my classmates so that I can check their test papers and have to maintain leadership to be followed and respected just like our teachers was such a great big deal. It's exhausting! It was exhausting and I was tired all the time at a very young age.
There's only one way to escape from the norm of being a leader and the responsibilities... is to stop being perfect! Be simple. Be normal. Be smart but stop being a genius. Being a genius is a great responsibility and of course you don't want your brains being turned into pickles, that's what they did to Einstein's brains > crunchy pickles!
I was teased to also hold the key for the main entrance gate for the school because of my punctuality and my good attitude towards "school standard operation." Anyway that was long time ago. Forget the past.
Time to wake up. ELECTION DAY in the USA. LIVE ON TV c/o CBC NEWS the live coverage of the US Presidential Election (including Vice President, etc) and people around the world are as excited as the Americans on how the most important right and privilege of voters is expected to give result favorable to the side that is most popular or to the most deserving, we may never know until all the votes are cast and counted. How many are the total registered voters must equal to the result or turn outs of the votes. Any discrepancy should be magnified and introspected by authorities.
Hope that there will be no controversial issues of chad system. Hope that everything will turn out good for the most part it would be for the betterment of the whole country that democratic system really works in a very Republican traditional American way. AMERICA is originally traditionally REPUBLICAN. Truth be told... GOD BLESS UNITED STATES of AMERICA! God bless our planet EARTH.
