Nostalgic Moment

The good thing about shopping in several stores or supermarkets in the local community is the "rewards" such as goodies worth $25 or a gift card worth $25, well only if you don't use any coupons to retrieve discounted products. Other stores will just deduct your points in replacement of the product you want to keep without paying on debit or cash. Nice! Nothing's wrong with that. Sometimes you can receive frozen turkey for spending more in Superstore.

Spent $386.00 worth of groceries at Superstore and we received a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Actually you can receive a box of FR for every $250 worth of groceries spent at Superstore. It's not that bad really. Inside the box: 2 boxes of chocolates plus  circular trays to display all the golden wrapped chocolate balls.


Christmas is fast approaching. 34 days to Christmas yey! Do I have to be happy? The spirit of Christmas is having family and clan all together sitting by the table dining with great food and drinking whiskey and wine...and vodka. Then opening of gifts the very next day. That traditional way of celebration, nothing fancy. If you want to attend Christmas mass then that's up to you and make the parish priests and the Holy Pope happy with perfect attendance at the Church.

We are thinking of Christmas already when the Americans are still waiting for the 24th of November for Thanksgiving Day. Belated, rather advance  Happy Thanksgiving Day people of America. I have so many relatives in the U.S.A. I have aunts, uncle, cousins, friends and my brother's friends there too (mostly in the Army, Marines, NAVY, and US Air Force). My high school classmates in Philippines, so many of them are already Americans. Do I have relatives in Hollywood? I don't know, not sure. I'm not sure whether Demi Moore (known for GI Jane)  is my cousin. He he! I first thought Julia Roberts (known for MonaLisa Smile) is my cousin because she looks like my cousin. I watched her old movie "Pizza Mystique" (Mystique Pizza) and I was shocked to see her in that movie. I asked myself is that her, really? I have no news of her so really first thought she is Julia. I mean Cherry. Oh, maybe just a look-alike.

I wish I have relatives in the News Network or at the White House. Ha ha! That's too much to ask eh? J/K
