One of those days that my daughter Tam and I had fun with our nails: manicure and pedicure hour and had chosen green nail polish this time instead of the usual red or maroon colors, or plain white and pink.
What's with green colored nail polish? It's not bad color either and it's fabulously popular color simply it's in timing with the Saint Patrick's festival.
It's Saint Patrick's celebration today March 17, 2017. Saint Patrick is the honorary saint of Ireland which the Irish people knew had the power that drives away all the bad spirits from the island including all the creepy critters and snakes... mostly snakes and rats...away from these rodents and bad evil spirits.
So why the color green as the motif for Saint Patrick's celebration? Why not red or blue? I think it has something to do with "clover" the beautiful green color clover leaf that is also a symbol of good luck for the celebration of Ireland's patron saint and as you probably have known that Ireland is a country predominantly of Roman Catholic inhabitants and still worship Saints, Jesus, God and their faith is more respected than most other religious denominations.
Anyway, here's wishing everyone a joyous, merry HAPPY SAINT PATRICK's DAY!
Enjoy and cease the day with hope, cheers and laughter.
C H E E R S ! One more time with feelings.
