How are WE WOMEN gonna celebrate the day intended for WOMEN? For the feminist and those who are members of the feminist group probably the best way to celebrate the day is to have a picnic at the park weather-permitting that the day is sunny, warm and wonderful. Yeah, it depends on what kind of weather in your city, town or community.
You can celebrate it by having dinner with your feminine friends at a restaurant. Or have a brunch at a beautiful resort-restaurant that everyone can afford.
A swimming pool party? Pizza party? Barbecue party? Sounds juvenile right? At this cold, cold weather outside?
How about spending time dancing at discotheque with your close friends "of course for girls only."
You can go on a rally and hold placards with group of women at the seawalk.
Or spend the best of times with your children, cook foreign food or cook something exotic but delicious and savory food for the whole family to enjoy. Is that boring?
Just pretend that Women's Day is nothing but an ordinary day and nothing matters and most of all pretend that you are not a woman and let the man in your home do the walking. Whatever that makes a woman happy.
International Women's Day is nothing but another day to spend money and commercialization is great for the economy.
Recommendation: Just watch the latest movie at the cinema or rent a new released movie DVD at the convenience of your home.
