Heartburn

I suffered from severe heartburn last night after supper. It's my first time to have that kind of severity, too painful. It was kind of pain hard to manage. Heartburn is caused by acid reflux and I first thought drinking coffee is ok but I'm wrong. My husband said better to  drink milk instead of coffee. It didn't help though.

Thinking what we had for dinner. My husband and children had shake and baked chicken, steamed brocolli, beef tomatoes with parmesan cheese, steamed rice and I had buttered/garlic/onions of prawns with mushrooms, celery and the spicy hot sauce plus steamed rice. I was the only one who suffered from indigestion. Whew. What the hell.

How long my suffering of heartburn? Just as I started watching the 2 -30 minutes episodes of ET (Entertainment Tonight show). Then an episode of Hawaii Five-O. Then I asked my daughter to massage my back maybe that would help. It didn't go away. I was thinking of Tums and or Gaviscon as medication for indigestion but we don't have them. While I still suffer from heartburn, still manage to watch an episode of the SEAL TEAM. Ha ha! OMG! I was in pain and still watching this dramatic episode of a man who is having trouble with his mental health. The middle aged man was accompanied by Clay (Max Thieriot) to the hospital for diagnosis to his problem but the doctors were reluctant to do some any necessary procedure because their hands are tied  and they were bound to the "system." That an MRI is costly $1,000+ for an MRI procedure? Wow! Really? I first thought the man was a soldier and had been in the military before and now he was suffering from PTSD. While Clay was trying to help the man, his Bravo team was in the tour of duty behind enemy lines  fighting the war that never ends. Later on, Clay was shocked to find his man down, drowning on his own blood, he committed suicide. That's what PTSD, folks. It's a mental health issue for those people who are serving in the military and whose rights were violated by the people whom you seek help for in times of emergency.

Anyway, my heartburn started to get milder instead of its first level of severity when I chewed a piece of gum. Then while I watched the TV News (news: Protest and rally in HK). It seems that suddenly their buildings had lights on. What's the real problem there? Electricity? That happened too in another part of Europe when suddenly there was a power outage and all the people get out from their homes and started their public protest & rallies on the roads and streets until the power was back to normalcy. Parang MATRIX story. It was so hot and unbearable inside those skyscrapers that those kids can already bend spoons and forks. lol. One old magazine bears old story of building getting a "meltdown due to excessive heat." Melting as in literally due to severity of heat exposure! Wow! What story is that? Seems fiction but if steel and iron are melting? That could be Vin Diesel's movie.

I remember a time when at the supermarket holding on to that jar of spicy hot sauce (chili/garlic)  and there was this old woman who whispered to me, " if I were you...I wont buy that." Now, I know why.
