Mapquest
While standing at the dockyard, at the pier observing the many views that need observance, the many beautiful spots that were before me admiring the scenery the beauty of the land and the sea. I went at the back of the ice cream store at the pier and noticed double rainbow at the horizon. Magnifique! I never seen such a double rainbow before so that was awesome. Then I glanced again at the island across the dock. Quadra Island seems such a mystery up to now. Quadra! From the word quadrangle? Instead of triangle it's quadrangle! Square!! However, look at the map. Is the map, the shape of Quadra island square? It is shaped like a bird. Weird right?
How could a quadra is shaped like a bird? Anyway that's for your mind to tackle with. Four sides, four points. Maybe your medulla has something to do with it. Yeah touch your back , the back of your head if its there. Still there? That's good. Congratulations you have what it takes to win it.
What about the Bermuda Triangle? So many stories about Bermuda Triangle. So many interesting stories, so many mysteries and up to now experts cannot explain all those mysteries properly. So let us look at the map again.
The triangle points to the three islands: Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Florida. Stream of currents flow from the Gulf of Mexico to the Caribbean Sea. Maybe somehow the interference with the currents from the Pacific ocean has something to do with the whirlwind. Oh well, look at the hand shape island and you'll know that arm will surely toss somebody's boat there. It's kind of funny when animated cartoons can better explain such islands and their mysteries out there. For me there is no secret in that map configuration. Nothing.
So what's new in here? Discovery Islands been passed through so many by boaters in the past so many times and still is a passage through merchant marines, cruise ships and sail boats sailing and cruising the waters that belong to Canada.
George Vancouver sailed and explored the Discovery Islands back and forth and the mapping, exploration and discovery was passed through to him by Captain James Cook. The route was then established from Alaska up to Tahiti. Why going up and down through that route? It's just like being in a cruise ship the route is simply a travel route for passengers, merchants, marketers, tourists and a lot more of important travel purposes for so many of those aboard the ship. Shipping process for goods and services to the many islands in that area. Finally after a serious talk with the Spanish governor the explorer was able to have a "station post" at the Vancouver Island so that at least there is that so called nesting and resting place for the whole passengers and crew aboard the ship. What else could be the reason? Tell me Mr. Thomas Jefferson, the 3rd President of the United States of America.
