The Old Man And The See Version

I don't know what it is but whenever I go at the downtown area there are old people who approached me and asked about things that made me think twice and get confused for a while and then later when I get home and looked at what I blogged recently made me aware that the olds are probably reading my blog entries or blog posts. Dude they know how to read.

First there were some comments that were rude in the past. Others were just ridiculous and few are sort of pleasantries that can make me smile but unable to reply right away because I'm not sure if I was the one they are talking to because the comment is not straight to the point and it's just "pahaging or indirectly focus on me." They can't be talking alone while they were in front of me eh? I mean they should talk straight and directly that they saw my blog post and they have to say what they meant of such word or statement.

I was in Dollar Store  weeks ago and the old man asked me where the soup is. Why is he asking me soup when he is at the Dollar Store? So I told him to go to the aisle with shelves where canned soup is located if there's any over there. Later on I realized that maybe the "Lighthouse  painting of Aunt Helen" meant for them as the sign that offers "Free Soup kitchen." OMG! There is that free soup kitchen somewhere in Salvation Army I think. They also are in need of commercial cooler for their kitchen. There is that free soup at Walmart where they offered small portion of soup for tasting advertisement.

Schools (Elementary and High School) should offer free soup for the young students. Only if there is a donation of canned or non-perishable food. Or donation of vegetables from gardeners or if the schools have their own vegetable gardens where there are abundance of veggies that they can cook and share to the students. In other schools they used this soup kitchen for collecting fund for the school. Soup are not free but you are to donate in "any amount" which the school treasurer has to keep and deposited in the bank for "school fund." The fund is meant to pay for school's extra curricular activities or field trip. Sounds to be a good idea when there is that so called school budget cut eh?

I don't have soup kitchen here for free. What I have is a BLOG. I blog post whatever is inside my mind. It 's not meant to be creative most of the time but because I love to write and make sure also that whatever I heard will be heard by other people, also and be given attention. So, if those people are looking for soup they have to visit Salvation Army  Soup Kitchen. Also ---->They are in need of $3,000 - $4,000 worth of commercial cooler. Who will donate such amount to buy a cooler? How you can buy such cooler is to ask payment for soup. Dollar for a bowl of soup. That's how. There is no such thing as free anymore because you are paying your electric bills for cooking and dishwashing. For the cooling system? You have to pay for such hydro or electric bills too.  Simple as that. In the Philippines where there are so many people suffering from poverty there is no such thing as FREE FOOD unless there are calamities: flood, earthquake, drought, war,  and if there is an occasion such as parties. Think. Canada is not a poverty stricken country. It's not what those politicians are campaigning as such. The housing is costly here I know that but having to see so many of these people having nice cars , trucks and vans that are worth more than $30,000 to $50,000 they can live in heir vehicles. J/K. Have you seen those beautiful houses, condos and townhouses equipped with nice appliances? Who are starving in Canada? The high standard of living is costly. EXPENSIVE! It's all for the house, for the hydro bills. What's for the food?

Did you hear news about those military men who are in Afghanistan? Their budget has been cut too. According to the news their $500/monthly allowance will be cut off too. Bad news alright!

There are so many refugees many of them that need assistance but why let the seniors of Canada suffer, why the soldiers and the Veterans  suffer with small amount of monthly pension and let those refugees get half of Canada's pensioners money? Think of the pensioners first because they worked so hard and they are legal citizen of this country. Refugees  with no legal papers and they don't even know who they are and you and the government don't know if they are criminals in their land that's why they fled from there. I'm not getting bitchy here I'm just saying I can't see poor people unless if those old people get to the point and tell the government about their disappointment. Their frustration is not heard much by those government representatives.  So maybe, maybe through me you'll know what's happening. You'll know the situation only if they have a voice.

I don't know if I have to post this publicly because those refugees might get back at me. It's really up to the government to work on what pleases or what's good for those people. Who they have to protect and serve? You have to give them the scale to weigh - in and tape measure to measure to be sure.

To label this blog post entry is crucial. It could fall under "Wit and Humor" although God knows what's really good for all of us.
