Survivalists from Canada and the US took part in the new season's survivalist game expedition, this time in the wilderness of Mongolia. Right within the border of Siberia! Would you believe that?
Second chance. One more time with feelings that those survivalist competitors from Season 1to 4 will once again compete on Season 5. ALONE is being actually alone by themselves in their own way to survive and how they can end up the winner. How long they can survive in Mongolia, in the wilderness, in the coldness of the night where venomous vipers, hungry bears and wild animals roamed the mountainous regions. What they will eat? how are they to build their temporary shelter to protect their bodies from icy cold weather when their coats and boots would probably wont help unless if they can create fire or their shelter is enough to keep the heat. Well, folks the contestants are mostly survivors of days and nights being alone in the forest of British Columbia and the "lost world" Pantagonia. Who knows maybe they can catch lots of fish and hunt edible meat from elks and deer for venison or eat mushrooms and wild ferns. Maybe there are pheasants or wild boars for roasting to keep them alive and live another day and night for the next days of being alone for the REDEMPTION and who knows will win the prize of $500,000. That's why.
Other people from other countries maybe are curious why this survival game is popular here in Canada and the US.
First let me tell you about Indiana Jones portrayed by the actor Harisson Ford ( Henry Walton Jones) and his adventure as a Archaeology university professor. As an archeologist what do you think they are after? They always are into research and study. The more scientific findings they can contribute to their alma mater then that's how much endowment and achievements for personal gains and personal achievements and both the university and archaeologist benefit from such findings of ancient remains and ancient fossils. For the Museums, those findings are treasures of course. No amount of money equals to Indiana Jones adventure and treasures found (well only if its a true story not fiction). Truth or fiction but the Lost Ark was discovered remember? And they are now inside your computers. The temple of doom was discovered too for real and the pyramids and pharaohs unearthed one by one because of courageous archaeologists whose non-stop unearthing and non-stop grave digging prove them that there is something down there the abyss that need to be known, discovered and recorded.
In ALONE what else could be derived from their research and experiment other than it's a survival game just like Survivor TV Show. However, this is an individual's achievement by being alone what you could achieve? Will somebody help you get stranded there by yourself until you are sick and dying? Or depends on your survival skills to stay alive by using life's skills nobody has. Astronauts had those survival experiments being trapped inside a closed module and they were tested on how claustrophobia can psychologically change your mental health and what simulation test will help astronauts in the actual event of being alone in space. Science in Canada and the US is different from other countries. Science, Physics and Astronomy and Archaeology in Canada is totally a matter of suicidal epic endeavor for mankind. Mankind benefit from such ACTUAL EVENTS. In other countries maybe they can do it, study the subject, read the books, passed the test, graduate and that's it. Here it's different. You cannot just do research without actual evidence, with all thunder and lightning. Chasing twisters? They do that for real. It's not just a movie. It's the real deal.
