It's now June 15, 2018. The local newspaper: dated June 6, 2018 Campbell River Mirror newspaper above had that front page news about the award ceremony for the most fortunate local heroes of Campbell River. Each qualified and deserving hero has a sponsor. Those heroes were recognized for their courage and bravery, and the value they added in being a part of the society where they live. Their great efforts in providing vital importance in helping the community, rescued animals in danger (SPCA) of losing its home, providing care for the needy and doing extraordinary help for the thriving community economically and what else could be? Fighting wildfires?

The local heroes are humans. They are not the Marvel animated comic heroes you usually watch on TV and movies. They are not your favorite Hollywood actors and actresses. These heroes are the people in your community doing extra measures to make sure that they are doing the right thing in providing community service, selfless act of humanitarian effort without pay. They are the volunteers working without pay. Thank God for them because it makes the work of the Government easy and convenient. Less budget and most appealing to the public for its own good. Congratulations Heroes! Keep up the good work!
