This is an interesting article from an old newspaper year 1959.
Truth is there's nothing fun out there once you are over 18.
Old people tend to think that you are now responsible for your own life and you must do
something that makes you responsible and be a part of the community by doing voluntary work.
You cannot graduate in High School if you don't finish your volunteer project.
In Philippines in my time, you cannot graduate without passing the many exams or tests,
NCEE (National College Entrance Test) and CAT (Citizens Military Training)
Yes, we were trained like Israeli soldiers. Great! It was fun. Good that we had that kind of military training which of course gave an idea and inspired so many of the students to serve their country in the most challenging way. WE became responsible, matured and knowledgeable.
Nobody's a cry baby that's for sure!
NOW
Children are spoiled. The community owed them recreational facilities.
They worked at home with their computers. They worked!
COMPUTERS are the WORK STATION
Children as young as Elementary students take part in using their computers
And they help in the economy through technology
The high technology made our children smarter and skillful
High technology is the backbone of the Canadian economy.
It's the computer technology that keep our forest alive
Without computers, Canada is probably without any trees left and mountains bald and denuded and flood everywhere. If Canada with the highest mountains get flooded all over then what's left in another part of the world?
The world owed our Canadian children for using the computers for the conservation project by not cutting millions of trees we have better quality of life and saving the natural resources for the future.
