Days ago while watching TV News, the newscaster broadcasted news about Kate Spade the designer who committed suicide. I don't know her. Although everyone who knew her as a bag designer or a celebrity signature bag designer were shocked. How could a pretty good looking woman who looked healthy and rich will commit suicide? Is there foul play? In the news it was ruled as "suicide."
Then another celebrity chef famous for "Parts Unknown" tv show who is known for traveling around the world and experimented on tasting variety/diverse of foods prepared and cooked by cooks in different countries was found dead, apparently because of suicide. How and why?
We had a young neighbor who committed suicide. I don't know the whole truth of that "case." He was already in the casket and nobody knows exactly what happened to him. The parents do not know why he committed suicide. It was one of those mysteries that remained "unsolved." So weird and bizarre!
Robin Williams, the comedian, the drama actor, committed suicide too many years ago. It was devastating for Robin's fanatic fans and friends in Hollywood. He was at the peak of his career. He is famous. Why he will commit suicide? Robin is known for movies such as: Birdcage, Peter Pan, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Good Morning Vietnam and many other blockbuster movies.
Suicide is not only prevalent to celebrity actors and actresses. It is not common for Hollywood stuntmen and women. Every time they worked on dangerous jobs they are committing suicide. The men and women in uniform who are deployed in times of war, they are committing suicide. It's their lives at stake. Workers/parachutists who are to jump from airplanes through leap of faith hoping their parachutes will open and they will land safely on the land... that's one type of suicidal tendency. But that's an everyday work for NAVY SEALS, the ARMY and the Marines. Fortunately so many of them are still alive. Think that they are the superhumans.
Contestants for Fear Factor and AMAZING RACE... they are hoping and praying that their stunts and their amazing race wont end up as a suicidal mission in order to win.
In all these, humans are probably suicidal in anyway in order to survive and in order to win but losing your life to win is insanity and crazy. Committing suicide is courage and bravery. But not doing anything is lazy and lame. Is there other way to be brave?
