Ever Changing Economic Trends

Husband went to the local store to buy something for the garden and when he was at the till, the clerk found out that there is something wrong with their machine that scans the debit card and the credit card. Know what? The only possible to scan his card is through the old machine that gives the carbon copy of the card. Remember the hassle of such technology? There are actually three copies: the original copy for the customer, one copy for the store, one copy for the "receiver" and the black carbon copy that the store used to throw away as trash or waste. The old technology scanning of cards debit and credit card is the worse kind that ever happened in the buying and selling of product and services. Millions went bankrupt and millions were victims of bankruptcy due to this process. Why? Criminals can use your card for fraud and scams. Criminals can use your card to purchase without you knowing it by having another set of card exactly the same as yours. It happened before year 2000. From then on forward the economy of the US and other wealthy countries in the world had problems with their economy. Rich people went bankrupt! Poor people suddenly became rich and influential but they don't know how to explain where their wealth came from. Good if the story is about winning lotteries but you still have to explain the winnings through taxation.

Nowadays, we have to live by our means to live simply and be ordinary. It is still a long way to go and if you have kids to send to college the more you have to be thrifty, economically saving for the whole family. Life is not about how you can outsmart others but how you and your family can cope up with the ever changing economy.

Latest news about workers who are being laid off because work force is changing and business establishments would rather have offshore workers or would like to accept temporary workers from other countries whose workers are willing to adapt new policies, wages below required average (below minimum) and workers who are not unionized minimizing benefits and other issues that need to be explained to those workers who were terminated. Only if the employer will explain or leave the employees guessing until they asked help from the media. When one computer can handle millions of transaction in one day. Robots doing the work? Get a grip.  Already been an issue sometime twenty years ago when retrenchment is sort of a way for the employment agency take a bite of the pi. Economics is so weird enough and the people running it so bizarre. Same old story. Nothing's new. Zero = nothing's new. One = there is something new in current. W=Whatever!
