One In A Million Chance!

EASTER MONDAY falls on April 1st which according to some foolish guys it's an April Fool's Day. EASTER SUNDAY yesterday so we must adhere and follow Easter Monday instead.

It's nice to have holidays because it is meant to be a joyful break or vacation for most of us especially for those who worked so hard. For those without a job everyday is a holiday and siesta time. Husband and I continued our yard work yesterday. He had all the real hardwork using machines to trim the lawn, pulled out weeds and the many extra care the lawn needs. Uhm, maybe he wants the lawn to look like a park or somewhat similar to a Butchart Garden. Oh no! Just kidding. Butchart Garden is the most beautiful garden in the world nothing will  ever be compared to Butchart with all the thousands upon thousands of floral variety that they were raising and the land they cultivate for so many perrenials, annuals and trees. I don't know how you'll compare it with the Raven Park because I haven't seen their park yet. All I know it was a park with million dollar donations and donations keep coming so that they keep Botany alive and well. The care for endangered species is more important than anything else in this world that's why.

I don't think we can visit Victoria this spring time or summer time because it is during this period of time when work comes first priority. After a long hibernation, winter is the time when almost all employment is down in the city big or small esp. in Canada. Seasonal job. Spring and summer is the time when people tend to work day and night at least having one to two even three work jobs to augment the non-working months. Unbelievable but it's true.

Just to show that spring-summer is here to stay let me post the beautiful plum flowers from the garden. I was thinking of having them in frames but know what,  frames here are more expensive than the art itself. So bizarre eh?
Lovely, charming flowers in bloom just right in time.

Somebody emailed me about the roses I posted on my birthday and she told me that she likes the photographs and asked if I sell them in prints. Wow! I know that there are professional photographers in the networld selling their captivating photos of flowers and birds, however for me to sell my own "product" here is, hmmm...dunno haven't think that yet. Haven't think of making business from such photography. I was thinking of joining the Canon photography contest but seeing the many images posted by million of contestants around the world what is my chance? One in a million chance!
