Oh my it's Monday again. I don't feel like waking up on Monday morning. Thank goodness I'm only working at home. I gathered clothes for laundry and when I passed by our living room, the front door is open, wide open. My husband went to work and two of my sons still sleeping and my daughter is already busy "working" at her computer station in her room. She didn't open the front door. Why the door is open? Then I noticed the heater is on when the weather is already hot. It's summer time. It's hot, hot, hot! The weather is HOT! The door is open and heater on? Is there a morning burglar? Who burglarized us this morning? Hmm...
My daughter and I were wide awake last night until 11:00 pm watching Lightning Point, where two aliens try to live anonymously and befriend those teens who are great surfers. iCarly and Victorious television series also our favourites. Then that Canadian Amazing Race version where the cast went to Scotland. Their tasks include: Rolling whiskey or rolling barrels of whiskey, making haggis ( haggis is similar to bopis or kandingga), playing bagpipes while wearing Highlander's kilt uniform. Scotland, the highlander, the movie of James Bond 007 Craig, that's the location of Skyfall. Could it be the location of Alice in Wonderland too? Whatever!
There is not much free movies to watch since we cancelled those movie channels and added other free movie channels. Wait, it's not really free because we pay for those channels subscription every month. We are paying or over paying too much for mostly replays. Movies that are on and on. Old movies and replays of movies. We are paying $108.00 + tax every month for TV connection. We had two Filipino channels: one is mostly TV news featuring Jessica Soho and Kape at Balita. Then the other channel is mostly drama and I don't like drama. Not me. I'm more tune in to television news, documentary and comedy shows. I would rather watch cartoon animated shows if need be. Why I don't like drama? First, I want to be entertained not to wrinkle my face watching the crying, violence and nonsense dialogue. I am not romantic so those soap is a big no to me. Maybe if there is that sense of adventure, challenge and singing and dancing but not overtly corny is good. Ha! You may think I'm watching too much Indian movies. Truth is the TV connection here in Canada has more Bollywood channels. Don't tell me too many Indians here than Filipinos? Canada is and should be Canadian right? But dunno...I should be quiet here after all there are so many racists here and some of them already stop or blocked whatever nationality or citizenship I need to acquire and I realized that the Elementary teacher in that school told me many years ago that's the way it is here. Okay? That is what and should be but don't blame when Mother Nature raise it's fury because nobody owns the country, nobody owns the world.
Let me tell you about this VANCOUVER ISLAND is actually, geographically belong to the United States of America. Before World War II, this island belongs to the PHILIPPINES.
