Making The Most Of Our Time Spending Wisely

Working hard for the money? Actually my husband is working for us this time at the yard trying to make the outdoor more pleasing than ever. Trying to do the yard work while the weather is perfect, warm and sunny. He sprinkled lime on the lawn before and after a week the grass grew so fast and it's time to trim them again. Weeds so stubborn need to be pulled out again. Hard labor that is and I told him he should be paid $40.00/hour for his work.
Lunchtime and I could only think of special pancit or chowmein. It's easy to cook noodles although the preparation of the ingredients is not that easy. I know,  that's why at the Chinese restaurant there are more workers at the kitchen than at the dining setting attending to customers.

Back to work this time he rented a power rake for $65 making sure the lawn is cleared of the non-essential part moss and weeds such as dandy lions. Dandy lions not BC Lions.

Of course I did help him with raking the old rotten branches and bushes at the backyard. Can't help just staring watching what he is doing while he sweat out there under the heat of the sun. I need to exercise too because I'm getting overweight. Gather dried cones that had fallen from the neighbor's fir trees. The neighbor who was cutting his grass approached my husband and they had conversation for a while. He seems nice. He looks like Japanese. Maybe he is but I didn't bother ask him. Did you know that there are some people mistook me for a Vietnamese? Or sometimes they thought I'm Chinese! Wow! Maybe I'm pretty eh? Hahahaha! I'm a Filipina not a Vietnamese or Chinese. Caucasians have problem with the determining or describing who are Chinese, Japanese, Viets, or other asian descendants. Asian have that problem of comparing Europeans and Americans. There's only one we can tell about them, they are the Whites. Asians are brown except Chinese, Koreans and Japanese. Profile identification? Conflict with illumination. Photo = light. A photographer can darken your white skin and your dark skin can be whiter in color in pictures. I know for a fact that light can really fool us. When our school photographers used to darken my skin color in photos and my darker skin classmates have to deal with white fair skin when they are really dark as almost black skin color. Weird right? I felt like the Maya elephant being covered with dye. Crazy!

I continued pulling the stubborn weeds from where the daffodil flowers are planted, then pulled out some dried  branches from underneath the weird looking tree which  according to my husband it's an ornamental hazelnut tree. Small tree. This ornamental plant or tree can be a good sample for bonsai art.

I don't feel like cooking after having to work out at the yard. My back hurts. Lorne had to buy burger and fries from Wendy's. That's a good treat ha. Children love it too anyway. Wow! Parang barok ang sentences ko dito ah. Kasi po may mga bugs dito eh. I mean buggers that keep clicking the blog a while ago and my blog composition setting keeps getting stuck.
